You should really resize this man, from far away this looks bad ass, but if you look at the native resolution you have kind of sloppy line-work ruining the work. Making it 900x700 or whatever would make it still large, and it would make the line work look a lot smoother.

Ah good ol nethack-like stories. I was a slightly burdened cursed male Valkyrie that in the heat of the moment tripped down a flight of stairs wielding a cockatrice corpse.

I am questioning the use of the super saturated super soft purple as her bang shadow, the color itself doesnt seem to really match her skin tone here much or the lighting and i find it distracting theres also that super bright super saturated red shadow on her neck too. Also why didnt you put some of those soft brushes in the hair either? its oddly flat looking compared to the rest of the image.

Lighting like this exists in real life, you just need to know where to look! I found it interesting in my life studies and decided to implement it in this simple sketch.

The hair slipped my mind, I didn't do my usual stringy brush combined with some soft blurs. Thats just a product of me not caring enough. Thank you for reviewing!

pretty nice composition, interesting choice of colors too, but your figures don't look very convincing realistically or as symbols and it detracts from the image a bit. maybe making them more abstract would've done it?

Thanks for checking my drawing out. Yeah.. the figure doesn't look very realistic, I am still on experimental stage. I just want to try out as much elements as I can. I spent like 4-5 hours to draw this, which was exhausting already. So many new things to try. I struggled a lot on the background colour, and finally found out that what I needed was saturated colour. I will have something new tomorrow, again.

I feel this could've benefited from a solid nonblack outline of some sort, the pose is stiff and awkward as well....work on your gestures. The face is also not appealing.... perhaps devote some time to figuring out what makes faces appealing/getting more accuracy in your likenesses.

I confess faces were never my strength. ":) I'll try to rework it from concrete reference material and also try to get the pose to feel more natural.
When you say a solid non-black outline, do you mean an outline to differentiate from the background, or something to define the color edges more naturally?

Sounds like a good potential way to get yourself unscouted. Dont post -anything- to the art portal, only post what you think is your good work. This looks pretty bad to me, its pretty off model for a mewtwo and the colors are smudged, uneven and relying too much on grey. clearly blue is the focus here, why isnt blue reflected in mewtwos shadows/highlights?

You have a good point, I-ll just put them up as sketches then (although the point was to receive feedback like these to try and learn out of my mistakes), It's off model because I am very slow at drawing and made this drawing fast (it was recommended to me to draw as fast as possible acknowledging I was going to make mistakes, and learn from those mistakes to try and slowly avoid them in the future), , and tend to make correction over correction, not that even then it turns out all that great anyways. I am still learning colors, so might have a bad habit of trying to smudge the colors to make in between colors. Mostly I am trying brushes in different sizes to see how it works out, it does seem a bit too smudged. Thank you for the feedback.

Lighting is hard isn't it? I would say that's the weakest point of the drawing, besides maybe your choice in colors, which is also super hard to get right. You need to experiment with saturation and shadows and basic lighting, the lighting in this scene shouldn't be as complicated as you made it. The moon shining through the spikes of the club might've made a more interesting piece compositionally.
Experiment with ONE light source before you go all bananas. The design of that club's handle is too unreasonable in its "this looks utterly useless in all practical respects for a handle" quality.
