et tu brutus
et tu brutus
I started drawing something else and this was just "Eh how would I do this?" and it snowballed out of control.
What fantastic colors! the saturation, the contrast, perfect! did you develop them yourself?
I think no. To choose colors, contrast etc I almost always look at works by other artists. But thanks
impressive, my favorite part of this is the cohesion of the palette. The anti-alias is also quite well done.
for the upper part of the background more contrast is needed if you're going to use white as an outline, the shade of beige you used for the cloud is too close to the shade of white of the outline and they begin to visually blend. consider more vibrant colors in general to make things pop with more contrast.
I’ll be sure to take it into consideration. Thanks for giving some criticism.
genuinely interesting design imo that isnt derviative of anything i know of despite the comments about dark souls. wonderful reference, tight colors and rendering, it has everything it needs!
appreciate the kind words! i think i'm hitting a really fun stride with my recent work. gottas stay original!
*highfives
lovely attention to detail here, but i SWEAR you literally outlined and shaded his balls individually in the sack...lmao, sometimes too much detail is a bad thing!
Oh shit, shadin his balls, lol!! Thanks for tha criticism, made my goddamn night. Preciate it!
5 honks out of 5, but could use some shading for depth!
Thank you! I will be working on it more :P I was pretty lazy about this, wanting the colors down and clear
wonderful colors and stylization. only thing im wondering about is why use the chaotic semi-texturized brush for what would otherwise be razor sharp and clean lines
?
I'd been getting the feeling lately that my art looked too "clean", I wanted to make it look a little messier by using this new brush. Sometimes it looks good, sometimes less so. Still experimenting with that.
Incredible.
Ima beat dat boy up again
(very nice colors)
