Wouldnt change a damn thing.

Daker777NG responds:

Glad you like the result!

You bet your shit it did, the only complaint I have is that handle looks like the flimsiest piece of trash ever and would be completely impractical on a weapon.

VacantVirtuoso responds:

She spent too much money on her outfit, had to make do with a broom handle... thanks for your feedback Template, will work harder on future weapon designs.

Hatching is a great way to achieve some dramatic effects, but knowing how to do it right takes a lot of time and practice, luckily as somebody who hatches pretty regularly I can give you some advice about how to do it a little better.

When you hatch or crosshatch special attention needs to be made to make the hatching flow around the form, this will maximize depth and form. As well, a smoother transition should be made between hard black shadows and your hatching, it should look like a gradient, not a sharp transition. when you make a hatched figure in a hatched background special care needs to be taken to make sure the figure doesn't blend into the background, i recommend a white outline around your figure or making your figure have a light area around them to make them stand out more. When hatching or crosshatching its important each ink stroke must not touch a hatch stroke running parallel to it, this breaks the flow of the hatching and looks amateurish. Theres a reason why people don't usually hatch things, its because its tedious and doing it right takes alot of time and a perfectionists eye! If this is the sort of thing you are interested in prepare for some long hours getting your hatching just right!

Banana tits are underrated. The likeness is pretty weak, but other than that its pretty wicked The pelvic anatomy is pretty fucked and the skin tone color is passable but not very realistic.... Nice guitar tho especially good attention to detail.....sheeet....

i can see where you were going with this but the face isnt very appealing, and the exosuit/prosthetic could use some work at making it look more functional/practical, it looks like a bunch of squares stuck together and not like something that actually works as you are intending it to. i like the choice of colors and stylization though.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking back at it now theres plenty I'd like to change.

Nice textures there, but you've kinda stumbled into uncanny valley here, with the textures being so realistic, but the lineart nor the background quite being up to that level of realism, you've kind of got this awkward look going on. The comparatively super simple background greatly adds to this feeling of awkwardness.

Enzefik responds:

This is very helpful criticism. I think if I come back to this piece I'll just abandon the outlines and push it to a painterly style. I'll probably just scrap the background and start over, in addition to giving myself a bigger canvas so the monsters aren't so close and it doesn't feel so cluttered. I do need to seriously just work on backgrounds for a while and work on making realistic environments for my characters, regardless of their level of detail. Again, though, seriously, thank you for the feedback.
