Perfect. From a technical standpoint I legitimately have no idea how you managed to get that many layers of depth on that ship with that much dithering in play while making the lighting on it as subtle as it is to match the rest of everything else. The colors and composition are on point and the gulls are so cute.

I think no. To choose colors, contrast etc I almost always look at works by other artists. But thanks

for the upper part of the background more contrast is needed if you're going to use white as an outline, the shade of beige you used for the cloud is too close to the shade of white of the outline and they begin to visually blend. consider more vibrant colors in general to make things pop with more contrast.

genuinely interesting design imo that isnt derviative of anything i know of despite the comments about dark souls. wonderful reference, tight colors and rendering, it has everything it needs!

lovely attention to detail here, but i SWEAR you literally outlined and shaded his balls individually in the sack...lmao, sometimes too much detail is a bad thing!
